Beginning his third decade with Paul L. Broussard and Associates, Steve Broussard is one of the freight industry's most respected executives.

Broussard served as Traffic Manager for the Kroger Company from 1973-78 before joining his cousin's new firm as Vice President in April, 1978.

A member of the American Society of Transportation & Logistics, and the Southwest Rail Shippers Association, Mr. Broussard was the Director of the Houston Merchant Shippers Association from 1976-77 as well as the President of the Southwest Industrial Traffic League from 1988-89.

He also was Chairman of National Transportation Week in Houston in 1982 and Director of the Transportation Club of Houston from 1980-82. He was also named Transportation "Man of the Year" in Houston in 1988.

Broussard earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University in 1973.
